Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Help! Xbox 360 Repair Shipping issues

I have a problem with this stupid system microsoft have for shipping them your xbox. I filled out a form and everything and requested a repair and they are currently waiting for my system. However it took me alot of time (14 days to be precise) to find a suitable package and bubble wrap etc, and during that time I failed to print off the electronic mailing label. I have now packaged and prepared my 360 but I havent arranged a delivery because the mailing label is no longer available since I left it for longer than 10 days.

I need to know one thing. If I just organise a collection anyway will they sort things out themselves, or is their a way in which I can get another mailing label sent to me. I urgently need help, ODST is just around the corner and my 360 is not well!!!!!

just call them back up and ask for another packing label. they should give you another one

I am not sure what you mean by; "if I just organize a collection" but to me it seems like you might have to go back online to xbox.com or wherever and re-submit all of your forms so you can get another shipping label that will yet again expire in another 10 days.

my whole RROD experience took me 8 weeks from break down to receiving the refurbished model back from MS.

I hope you have another system around to keep you company.

your best bet is calling them and explaining the whole situation to them. Maybe they'll charge you something for the extra shipping label but its worth it then to be stuck in limbo.

Yeah. Just call 'em. They're really nice. My 360's disc drive died last year, and I called. They told me it wasn't covered. I called several weeks later, to cancel my Gold account for a while, and they told me they'd fix it. Then, I went inside of the 360 to try and fix it myself, and destroyed it (instant RRoD). They STILL told me to send it in. I bought a new one instead, but they were very cooperative. You'll be fine.

My friend had a similar issue. He just got fed upp and bought a ps3. Why do u guys put up with this crap from Microsoft. Its like if they tell u to bend over, you will hand them a jar of vaseline.

And I'm on my Wii, so I can't edit or quote. Anyway, I got a 360 in 2007. It broke twice. It would have cost me $0.00 to get it fixed, both times. I wound up buying a Jasper 360, though. My PS3 never broke, but my cousin's did. It cost him $150.

I don't think either of us felt like winners there, buddy. Anyway, O.P. wants advice about his 360 shipping problem. PS3 has no place in this thread, I must say.
