Good question, why don't they? They had a headstart and was the best-selling next gen console, until the Wii came out. As for me, I'm confident the PS3 will pick up and soon close the gap between the Xbox and PS3. Its actually possible IMO seeing Sony's lineup of games in comparison to the Xbox. (Remember, other markets count as well)

I don't personally care as an Xbox 360 fan. I WANT competition, which produces new ideas, price drops, and games!!



Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"

The 7.66 Million gap is incorrect, the Xbox 360 has a 8+ million lead on the PS3, I just realized that this is not VG Chartz fault because they do adjust their numbers when they are off, so the only explanation is that Sony is reporting shipped to retailers and not sold to customers again, Sony have done that in the past, I don't see why they wouldn't do it now.

People that follow sales closely know that Sony counts shipped as sold, I thought Sony had changed that but apparently they haven't.
