Not a multiplatfor release, it's a remake.
If it didn't look better, it would be laughed off the forums.
That said, if they didn't fix the camera, it's all moot. The 360 version was shite, and shite don't shine, no matter how much you rub it.

Wait, the game isn't a port? Since when...?
|
Since it's called Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma, not Ninja Gaiden 2. Since it adds a ton of new content, and fixes multiple problems with the original game. Since it adds functionality, as well as new gameplay mechanics and better graphics.
It's not a port because Tecmo says it's not a port. Technically, this is Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma, and another game was called Ninja Gaiden 2.
It's not a multiplatform release, because it's not the same game.
And the graphics are not comparable, because the graphics running off the same code. They've been polished over a year.
When ssj12 said that "this time around" the PS3>360, in most peoples minds, it implied that a multiplatform game looked better on the PS3 this time around.
However, the fact that the developers remade and renamed the game, as well as revamped many aspects of it over the course of a year, might have a little something to do with that implication seeming misleading to the common entheusiast.
Just like Ninja Gaiden Sigma was a PS3 exclusive, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is a PS3 exclusive, and the reason this game is so much better on the PS3 is because it was remade over the course of a year, and nearly every aspect of it has changed for the better in the remake.
Other examples of different games that aren't ports, but instead enhanced exclusives:
Ninja Gaiden Sigma
God of War PS3 remakes
You can offhandedly call it a multiplatform title that looks better on the PS3, but that isn't correct. Could be considered spin.
