Who doesn't have their computer running 24/7? Or at least all during the day? Do you really shut your computer off everytime you step away from it?

Joke?

Answer: A lot of people.

More descriptive: A lot of people conserving energy and reducing electric bills.

Yes, when I leave my house my computer turns off even if I'll be back in 30 minutes. When I go to sleep it goes off. When I go watch TV it usually goes off... unless its like a baseball game. Then in between innings I go and check out the computer. When I go play my video games it goes off... unless I am reading walkthroughs.

You could have done this with the internet browser but I guess they changed the interface to work better with the PS3? Like Youtube's trying to do? [Even thought the youtube one is still in beta and not very good]

Still nice. Now we just need porn.

Do you not set your computer to hibernate? Computers do have these new fangled power saving settings...

I have mine set to hibernate after 10 minutes or when I close the laptop but even then pressing a button brings it back on almost instantly while saving plenty of power.

Next they add this to the xmb and PlayStation Home.

Why? Why not just shut down? I have no problem pushing a button and waiting to boot up.

You're the one that made a stink about waiting for the computer to boot up.

I don't like waiting for my computer to boot up either so I solved the problem while saving power.  :-p

Also, I like the title of the Kotaku article better (that and I hate Joystiq): Inconveniently order pizza from your PS3

I can order Pizza from my Wii too. There are a bunch of websites that have been around for quite a while that allow you to order all sorts of food over the internet delivered to your house/dorm/whatever.

To bad it takes like 2 hours compared to a quick phone call which will get you a delivery within 45 minutes.

papa johns is pretty speedy from the internet orders.

I can't say I've ordered online from Pap John's, but the last place I ordered from (I think pizza hut) took anywhere from 30-60 minutes just to find out you placed an order. The only reason we ordered online is they took orders later online than over the phone and we were really hungry.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Two hours?  No... I used to get my food faster than calling up on the phone, not to mention they have plenty of online deals as well.

Tough for you.

I just use Just-Eat.dk

It's a website in denmark (if you change the .dk to .whatever your country is it's likely to also be there ? well probably) where you can order from like 20k resturents or something.. You just enter some criteria such as your postal number and it brings up all the open ones in your area.. and then you can filter it down further, such as people who don't charge for takeout, or only take 30 minutes.

Check out my game about moles ^

^^

If I place a phonecall to the pizza place right down the street from my apartment it is cooked and ready in 15 minutes. Then it is a matter of another 10-15 minutes for them to deliver it (they are lazy bumbs). If I pick it up, I can be eating 20 minutes after I call.

Also, the place down the street is much better than Pizza Hut, Poppa John's, and pretty much every other chain.
