Police: Teen's attack by 2 students involves race
Associated Press - September 15, 2009 10:04 AM ET BELLEVILLE, Ill. (AP) - Police in the southwestern Illinois city of Belleville say the videotaped attack of a 17-year-old student by two other riders on a school bus appears to be racially motivated. Authorities took into custody the two black Belleville West High School students they believe pummeled and choked the white victim Monday as others on the bus cheered them on. All of its was recorded by a video camera mounted inside the bus. There's no immediate word on charges against the two suspects, ages 15 and 14. Police say one suspect refused to let the victim sit next to him, then began punching and choking the teen. Moments later, the other suspect taunted the victim, then punched him.
two things...I hate the title...and teh reason why is that there was more than one white kid on that bus.... they were picking on him. Btw, read teh comments...racism seems to bleed hard in this country still...
