well the fact the single player is the career... since you drive a car you own and the races change every day (in real life) , this IS Career mode... why they say it doesn't have a career mode?
you have the cars. you buy them everyday, you get the races you finish them and get more money to buy new cars.
isn't that career mode? cause last i remember Arcade mode was just quick races of cars you already own, and with tracks you select without money or anything.

Yeah, I don't see what the difference between career mode and the pick up and play race mode on PSP... one other thing I didn't like about the review was his complaint about "You don't know if you have this car... untill you click on it" Is he really that lazy that he cant hit 2 buttons? One to click it and one to click back... I don't see how that's even... bothersome... but thats me.

Earlier in the thread when they said there is no career mode I thought to myself "what... so all the cars are unlocked and you just choose which when you want to race with and on what track.." But it's not like that at all.

Judging from the video review this game isnt as bad as the score would indicate. It runs at 60FPS with the same game mechanics that the GT4 was praised for, The graphics are beautiful. The career mode I can understand the complaints but ths sounds more like an 8 instead of a 6.8

the reviewer from above sounds like he's nitpicking,so now presentation is more important than gameplay,he says at the beginning that gt psp is a game that you should be able to play in short bursts do a few races then put down and it was obviously designed to do exactly that so wtf is he going on about ,it is what it is portable car racing not gt5

Sounds like the same complaints but it sounds like this reviewer weighs gameplay more than presentation... I don't expect or care if the did a re-do but I'd like to know... what exactly does he think a career mode is? To me its racing for money to build up a car collection... and being a portable I fully expect it to be in smaller portions... exactly how he first describes it.

I think they would do more of an update. Im not sure but they may have Updated Lost Odyssey's review score since the difference in Load Times between Retail and Reviewer copies were significantly different. But I don't think they'll do it for this game. IGN is usually on point with their reviews but sometimes they miss their Mark bad. Take a look at the score for Kingdom Hearts 2.

Too much denial in this thread. It's above average, live with it.
