Dont think it will happen but it's not impossible, as GTA4 made 3.4 mill in a slower time of the year.

It's possible...It's going to do above 2 million in NA for the 360 alone...and when you tack on PAL and Jpn...it might be able to get to Halo 3's number...but ofcourse it's multiplatform, so it might not. Overall though, I think we are going to see a total number that beats GTA4's opening week.

GTA San andreas beat halo 3 first week.

And while modern warfare 2 will outsell it first week, it certainly will come no where near GTA San Andreas over all. It could not keep up. they could not keep the shelves stocked. the game would of easily done 5m+ first week if they could.

Definately! I mean it could have over 2 million pre-orders in NA by release + people who buy it first week without preorders in NA + the rest of the world

I think MW2 will beat H3 on the X360.

Modern Warfare was one of the biggest breakout hits ever, given how poorly CoD2 and CoD3 did. I think that 3.5 million is a minimum worldwide, and 4m is likely. Given the stats on XBL, it's certainly Xbox 360's 2nd most popular game.

I'll go with 4m first week, and 7m by the end of December worldwide.

OK but San Andreas is not a 360 game.
