The second part is not true. I said quite some times that I would get a PS3 if I had the time to play it. It is not a matter of price, it is a matter of time. I never said this game is bad, because it is on another system than the Xbox360.

I am not a blind fanboy. Sure I prefer my 360 ( I would have sold it already if this wasn't the case) but I never said something like Xbox360 > all !!!!111111

It's just the console that fits my gaming-taste.

In the absence of HUGE 360 exclusives, I agree that this will be one of the greatest release of xbox360-history (NOT videogames-history lol).

Don't forget that for other ptatforms there will be better games released, like the 2009 GOTY (UNCHARTED 2).

Well Activision wants it to be the biggest game ever - not like that will happen but that's what they want!

OT: Across multiple platforms it may very well have the biggest opening of any game ever but not only on one platform I don't think. (Even if that platform IS a software selling monster)

Nope, MW2 release will still be larger.  So far I think the largest has been GTA IV (multiplat), but I think MW2 has a chance at passing that.  Heck even the PS3 version of MW2 alone will outsell Uncharted 2.  Not trying to downplay Uncharted AT ALL.  It is an amazing and beautiful looking game that I willd definitely play once I buy another PS3, but it just doesn't have the following and userbase like CoD games.



Reasonable on 13 October 2009

The focus for me is across PS3/360 - to see what it's total first week is. I agree it might have an amazing launch on 360, for sure in the US it is, but the larger focus I think is its overall sales, and that's what the industry is going to be watching.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
