2. im sorry i have to laugh at this one. Stories are VERY important in RPG's and is the reason why i play them. I 100% disagree with this and also the fact that u said FFCC has a weak story is the reason why i wont be playing it

Wow that was very unconvincing and this is coming from someone who probably could be easily convinced considering I've never played an FF game. All 5 reasons essentially have no merit to the final products. Story uses are completely subjective while stylistic differences only make or break a game if the polish is there. And judging from past FF games and FFCC... polish and style has always been there. The rest are obviously more irrelevant.

When you base an argument, you can't base it off what you want the answer to eventually be. You have to base it off what you find. It's obvious in creating this all you could find is that you like FFCC better. Thus you tried to twist it in a way to make it better than FFCC. For the most part on what I see is that they are two different kinds of FF games just like how FF Tactics is and should be left at that. Although, main line FF games are going to get bigger budgets and yea it is going to show.

I agree on some points but i have to add something, FF have been diying since FF7 why dont they let it die and let me remember when it was REAL good, and start a new franchise with a different name, for instace Crystal Chronicles, i played the GC CC and i loved it it reminds me of Rings of Fate but with the incredible multiplayer experience, graphics and music, at least for me the first one was better than many other final fantasy titles

I dont have a ps3, but even if i had my expectations on any final fantasy game are sunk, im sorry but i dont have anything more to expect and Square Enix doesnt make any effort to make it different

He never said Crystal Chronicles has a weak story, he said it didn't focus as much on the story. Really, people seem to read what they want to read.

But usually games that don't focus on story do so because the story sucks, right?

Can't really compare to two, because the comparison you're making is saying that you can't focus on both.

Main FFs usually put a strong focus on story, but the gameplay is still good. They also focus on other aspects of the game by putting tons of polish, etc.
