I have a feeling it won't be a Sonic game. Mostly because they wouldn't make a clue that's so blatantly 'Sonic' unless they wanted to surprise us with something new instead.

If Sega does not release this for the Wii (and I am not sure of the plans, given the emphasis on HD graphics in the interview), that would be foolish. After all, Sonic Unleashed sold more on Wii than on Xbox 360 and PS3 combined (and more than Sonic the Hedgehog on Xbox 360 and PS3 combined).

But then again, this is Sega, which missed a golden opportunity not releasing its Sonic Genesis Collection on the Wii (apparently so it could keep releasing games on the VC).

Yeah, but what about all those reviewers who comment on EVERY LITTLE THING!? Promise, this game will have it share of criticisms, but at least SEGA can safely say "You wanted it...."
