I can't say I'm too butt-hurt about dropping the Titans-Jags game... I'm actually quite happy considering the fact that Jeff Fisher has finally decided to stop the bleeding and let Vince Young play as the starting QB... And boy, did he deliver!

Well I'm 100% sure you did =)

I have them in my inbox, unless you really need to see your name up there I'm going to add it as part of the update after the MNF game.

And if that doesn't add some suspense back into this week's competition then I will also say another person got missed for the same reason I missed you. So this week is still very much in contention.

Plenty of room, you won't be in any serious contention for winning the league at this point but you could light up the weekly wins still.

edit: The MNF game for this week is still open (picks submitted via PM please) and playoff picks are also still open, although your maximum points will be reduced somewhat at this point (Playoff prediction should be submitted in a seperate PM if possible plz).

Bah damn Packers got outplayed again .... let Favre pick apart the d barely any pressure. Our O-line seriously needs some work . Then wait to the 3rd quarter to try to make a come back again....

Mia vs Jets was crazy ..... Mia offense was barely on the field Ted Ginn 1 man show 2 100yd td returns..

Looks like another one for the Saints. That team is beastly. I'm not sure they can get by the Pats, but they probably have an easy road up until then. I really can't stand their coach though. Sean Payton is such a cry baby bitch. Any officiating call that doesn't go his way, no matter how much video evidence stares him in the face, he just shakes his head in disgust and screams "bullshit". Funny because I'm sure he didn't mind that bullshit holding call on Mike Peterson earlier that kept the Saint's last TD drive alive.

Yeah when that call was made I told my friend it was probably going to decide the outcome of the game.

You could just feel the Falcons were only barely holding the saints back and making a 3rd down stop to give yourself a chance late in the game only to have it ripped out from under you is rough.

I have to admit though they fought damn hard down to the last whistle to give themselves a chance to win it.  They will be dangerous if that attitude sticks.

The Falcons really gave it their all. Between the bad call, the Michael Jenkins drop and the missed 34 yard field goal from Elam, it really cost them the game.

Did you see Payton on the sidelines though? That dude cries about EVERYTHING. You could have showed him all the video evidence, and had stopped time and let him go up to Jenkins and see his toes were in bounds and he had control of the ball, and he still would have cried about the call. Then he cried about Pierre Thomas' fumble also, and that was as obvious as day. I didn't see Mike Smith cry bullshit on any call in the Saints favor, including the holding call on Peterson. That's the different between a coach that is a class act like Smith and another Bill Belichick in the making like Payton.

I did notice, and I think its a weakness of theirs to be honest.  You can't have that kind of toxic attitude being set as an example on a football team.  The big-play players will sail over it no problem but when negativity pervades anything that goes against you it will have an effect on your more marginal players and in any team sport you're only as good as your weakest position on the field.  A team like the Patriots that are notorious for engaging in mind games can really exploit that and it could cost them.

It will be very interesting to see that game....
