Man, I just came across the Gamestop release date and Dragon Age: Origin will be released on X360 on 11/2/09 and the PS3 version will be released now on 11/17/09. Talk about a bummer, I was planning to get the PS3 version but I might have to switch it over to the X360 version because I cannot wait for an additional 2 weeks for this game. WTF EA.

Anyone know why this game is coming out later on PS3? Is it a same day release in Europe?

They mentioned this about a month ago. The PS3 version was lagging a little behind in development, thus the slight delay in that version

Wow I guess I am not as spoiled as some, two weeks is just not long enough for me to even care. But then again if it was 2-6 months I would totally agree with you. But two weeks who really cares which version you will get (this is not a first day game for me so the wait does not bother me).

It's two week. No big deal. I wonder if we will have any Sony fanboys casually pop in here and say "Bioware sucked for years who wants it anyway" or "I was going to get this but screw it, should have been PS3 exclusive anyway, would have been a better game."

Though Bioware claimed there were no technical issues with the PS3 version, and that was just "the order they decided to release them in". Either Microsoft moneyhatted, but then realised that all they could afford was two weeks of exclusivity, or more likely, Bioware are too proud to admit they're having difficulties.
