He put that in there because he knew a lot of people thought the PS3 was going to have insane sales. Now it may be true that the full slim/price drop has not come into effect yet but neither has the 360 price drop. So next week will be very interesting.

Either way Hyruken got loads of posts in the thread because of that title

technically its factually correct, he didn;t "imply" anything

but as he has said "This week was all about the introduction of the slim and the price cut"

That leads me to believe he hasn't fully researched the situation

Neither has the Elite and the Arcade went up in price. So really was an interesting week wasen't it.

But you didn't mention the 360 in your OP, which is why we're discussing the PS3....


Think your looking for things that are not there CGI. The PS3 had a price cut and a new model launch, people are only interested in seeing how it has done with it's first available numbers. Anyone who says they are not interested to see how it did is a liar so hence why i said how it did.

PS3 has done very well in NA in my opinion, any console that can increase sales by 100% week over week has done a good job.

Just because i said last does not mean i think the console is shit so don't try and imply that.

I did mention the 360, i put it's numbers up, they were ok, not really that amazing but if you put the price up of your cheapest console then you have to expect that. This week was all about the introduction of the slim and the price cut so did not really need to talk about the other consoles, we have talked about them for long enough. It's Sony's turn again :)

So now you admitting to making a a thread title that was anit-Sony?

In the world of game sales of which this is a website for is that not worthy of talking about then? As i said before anyone who is on the game sales forum and not looking to see how Sony did with the slim this week is a liar, and the fact your trying to turn my words to make it look anti Sony is hillarious. Then i said "We have talked about them long enough it is Sony's turn again", again is that hard to understand? It is like having a big Blockbuster film being released but your only allowed to discuss it if you mention all of the films currently in the cinema....

How about this CGI, go onto all the +Sony threads and say the same thing you are saying about this one, go pick at Darths one about domination etc and say he is being anti 360 etc.. until you do that please for the love of god shut the fuck up!

Well, someone said in the best case 500k. I say in the best case 300k (US: 90k, EU: 130k, JP: 80k). My prediction now is: US 80k, EU 110k and JP 60k (i may be a bit low, but i prefer being positively surprised than negatively).
