PS3 did pretty goos this week. The sales will moslty likely increase by a lot next week.

This is for JEDE3.  He claimed that people back after the 360 price cut were like IT'S DOMINATION and are now the ones saying this isn't domination.  Well can someone tell me something.... according to the data below, the 360 DOMINATED by a huge margin, not some 1k.

Week before price cut in NA:

So after one day of sales with a reduced price the 360 DOMINATED the PS3.  This is quite a big difference as this is nearly double the PS3's sales after just one day of sales.  So I'm sorry that you seem to have thought the 360 was only beating the PS3 by 5k, but for pretty much the entirety of the last 11 months it has been at least 20k higher on average.

This thread made me lol. First people laugh at Ps3 when ioi posted preliminary showing it below 360 and batman AA below 360 by like ~5k. Now numbers show it's vice versa and xbox fans are saying 5k is hardly nothing. Everyone needs to chill and wait for the next few weeks to see where this goes.

Next week will be interesting.

360 only had 2 days at lower price and the announcement happened with next to no notice so Joe Q Public wasnt as aware of 360 price cut as it was with PS3slim price cut. Then throw in all the advertisement at all the retailers and the extra bonuses particularly at Target and BestBuy and the 360 may stick with the PS3 next week.

On the other side the actual street date for the PS3Slim was September 1, so some people may not have looked. Yet if you had to have a PS3Slim you probably have been casing the stores.

I really think the week after next will tell a better tale. With advertisements in the Sunday paper most people that are interested will know that the PS3Slim is out and it is $299.
