Moss ahead of spatula? Wow, you are the very definition of a fanboy.

PS3, Wii and 360 shouldn't even be on this list. They haven't been out long enough for judgement to be passed on where they sit in the all time greatest list. Especially since the new amazing tech for the PS3 and 360 have not been released (i.e. Natal and wand) yet so we have no idea how they will influence the course of this gen.

While Wii was the innovator this gen with waggle one of the HD units might end up taking Wii motion to school on motion control thus taking a little bit of lustre off Wii. Whether it means Wii ends up not being the console of the generation who knows, but there is more to the 7th gen story to run yet.

They are rating it on what each system introduced and it is all very very subjective. Since it is seemingly completely baseless, I do still find it hard to believe that the PS3 is ranked all the way down as the 15th best.
There are close to 25 million owners of a system that launched at $600.
That is amazing to me, and Sony wont stop until the world recognizes it for what it is.
I won't say that ranking it below the first xbox is wrong, because it is their list, but There is a bias at IGN that goes in the following order;
xbox360>PS3>>>>>>>>>>>>>>wii.

has anyone else noticed this?, it is perceivable from their podcasts, among other things.

I don't see how anyone thinks the 360 will make the top ten.  But I'm probably wrong and it will.

It doesn't offer anything different from the XboX, other than improved graphics and a built in hard drive (among some other small details).  And based on what the PS3 and 360 offer for gaming, I feel that they are on the same level.  They both have amazing exclusives, great online features (live probably has the edge, but I've never used it) and aside from Blu-Ray, it's pretty much a draw between the two. 

I'm sure the remaining consoles will at leat include, in no particular order.
