at the risk of sounding stupid. LTD?

 Life to date, I believe.

Ah, thanks.  I couldn't think.  Used to LTD standing for Limited.  Which doesn't even make sense yet people use it.

Wtf? Shouldn't Hot Shots Golf 5 be #1? It's not even on the list.

"Why do they call it the xbox 360? Because when you see it, you'll turn 360 degrees and walk away"

@makingmusic:
Actually it is. But there is some editional mistake so it has no place and is pasted wrong. I didn't see it at first too.

But is on top of the table anyway, it's called "Minna no Golf 5" and has sold 322.140.

I passed over HSG5 at first glance too.

Wow, that Agarest game really bombed. I can only imagine how much money these companies are losing from these kinds of sales.

Tag - "No trolling on my watch!"

So only 6 titles in its first year of life have sold more than 100k? And only 2 titles more than 150k?

That really, really is terrible. Especially when you look at the names / brands involved (RR7, VF5, Minna No Golf, AC4, Gundam Musou, etc..).

Not sure if this has been pointed out yet, but they do also have a Wii version:

Only 14 titles have sold more than 100k - not great either. But of those, 12 have sold more than 150k (compared with 2 for the PS3) - and 4 titles more than 500k.

In the top 20, 10 titles are not published by Nintendo. Not bad for 3rd-party performance?

Nocturnal is helping companies get cheaper game ratings in Australia:

Wii code: 2263 4706 2910 1099

Those are really great numbers for Sony considering its userbase and the price of the system. Thanks for the Nintendo chart shams, it really shows how lackluster the wii's performance has been, the two top games are basically tech demo's. While Zelda is selling less then the GC port of Mario party.

Very bad numbers for the Nintendo hardcore. Since no one owned a Gc last gen and its poor line-up of games, it is no surprise to see Nintendo fans jump to the wii, while the Sony fans will make the change once prices come down and crush the wii numbers.

Have you considered getting a job for Sony in Marketing?
