MontanaHatchet said: 1 point doesn't constitune being lazy. So what, a line about flowers being sent doesn't need to be debunked by more than a sentence. You're ignoring the other 9 points. As for the second part, I guess you didn't notice the several sentences after that one sentence. Anywho, I found a great assortment of box arts for the Game Gear, so it's time to start adding them! Game Gay Power! |
The other Nine Points...
1). Jack and Hideo said it was an exclusive at E3. In front of many people and on stage, even. Jack later told us to our collective face.
(Not count, since you have already stablish the link behind Kojima/Konami/Sony)
2). Kaz sent flowers for the Metal Gear 20th Anniversary Party. Sending flowers for events like this is a Japanese custom. Street Fighter II creator Yoshiki Okamoto sent flowers, too. Kaz's were prettier, though.
No need to be debunked...
3). Sony sent Hideo a gaming cake and booze for the MG 20th Party. Gaming cake? Serious.
No need to be debunked...
4). Kojima Prods. have stated that MGS4 was being developed especially for PS3 hardware.
OK, RE4 was especially development for the NGC, but the game was ported to he PS2 (Inferior Hardware Specs BTW), Devil May Cry wasn't posible in the 360, but now there is a port...
5). Sony is producing the Metal Gear Solid movie.
Maybe the first valid reason, no need to debunk
6). The Metal Gear 20th Anniversary cell phone is a Sony product.
Since when a CellPhone market product affects an exclusive title??? This is just one move to make money from the MGS name...
7). At the Metal Gear 20th Anniversary Party, Phil Harrison appeared in a video letter. I didn't really hear it because I was too busy trying to talk to the Microsoft Japan honcho.
No need to be debunked.
8). Hideo told Luke it was for the PS3. No way he could lie to Luke. No way.
This don't close the door for a port, but quoting MakingMusic "The one with Luke? Obviously there for comic relief." No need to be debunked...
9). Snake uses a SIXAXIS in MGS4.
OK, SS use a Sixaxis, there is no way the model of the control could be changed, making impossible to port the game to the 360 due to fees issues ¬¬
10). See numero uno.
11) (Maybe the only one "REAL REASON", so no need to be debunked)
Speaking with Gamasutra, Dille was asked what the deal was with Konami casting some doubt on the title's exclusivity just before E3.
"There was something that came out prior to (the Sony E3 keynote) announcement. Our folks have talked to the Konami folks, and until the announcement was out from our side, I think they were being a little bit cagey. But the agreement calls for exclusivity, the announcement's been made, and now people know the real story."
The agreement calls for exclusivity. Doesn't get much more cast-iron than that. Unless you want to poke at the definition of the term exclusive, but just for today, let's not.
In the end there are just 3 points to be debunked, still none of the need more than one or two sentences to be debunked...
"As for the second part, I guess you didn't notice the several sentences after that one sentence"
Let me see:
Second off, Capcom is not the same company as Konami. The game is being developed by Kojima Productions, and being published by Konami. Why would we need to go through this many stages of denial before it was announced for another system? Seriously, some random blog or magazine editor says it's on another system, you all believe him without question. Konami or Kojima himself say it's exclusive, and you all never shut the fuck up.
The rest is probably your "inner anger" talking, you dont need to post all of it to make a point you know, and BTW there is no need to "shut us".
