That pretty much confirms multi. 360 has the strongest line-up and PS3 has the weakest. Expect to see large 360 sales and below average christmas sales for PS3.

I really hope they both go to the 360. It makes economic sense. But I repeat my long-held belief. MGS4 will come to the 360 by the end of 2008. FFXIII, will never reach the 360.

That is what it means for the PS3 to survive the holiday season. There is nothing illogical about the premise. That is the make it or break it time for the PS3 not next year. I would even suggest that they have already lost too many exclusive titles already due to the atrocious sales for the first year. Five million is not impressive in the least. Were Microsoft to make it out of this year with sixteen million units, and the PS3 with under eight it would be suicidal for a developer to ignore the discrepancy.

One thing we easily forget is that developers compete against one another. Just as the consoles compete against one another. Selling enough games to make profit on one console is good. The other guy putting their game on two consoles and selling twice as many games is bad. Developers with more money can capitalize by making better games that can outperform your own games.

X360 sold last year same amount of consoles than PS3 has so far. Why then PS3 would sell only 7milj. to end of year and X360 sold last year 9milj.? besides PS3 will sell japan too what X360 didn't do.
