Forums - Sony Discussion - I can't resist the PS3 Slim...bought it today.

Man talk about something that is irresistible. I went to best buy today to check on some Blu Ray movies and lord and behold...there it was, PS3 Slim instock.  

 

I keep seeing this image in my mind after I saw the Slim: 

I already owned a $400 80 gig fat version and I keep telling my self noooooo...don't do it, you are wasting your hard earn money, why would you want something you already have????? There were only 4 left so my Smeagol side of me said take it quick. So now I have $313 charged to my Best Buy Credit Card.

I still haven't open the box yet and now I am thinking, WTF did I do that for? But the slim is too sexy and my gaming instict took over at the moment. I can still return the Slim within 14 days unopened, but what the heck, I am going to give my Fat PS3 to my dad when I go see him in a few weeks. He has a Sony HD TV and needed a Blu Ray player anyway.

 

I also got Batman:AA for my PS3 this week. Good time to be a Sony fan again...Man did I tell you this thing is going to be the Bomb...it is the greatest entertainment package in the history of entertainment devices...it literally does everything. Why would anyone even bother buying any other Blu Ray Player.

Make sure your dad doesn't ONLY use his 80GB as a blu-ray player. Is it a Software B/C 80GB or a regular 80GB?

He doesn't care for stuff like gaming..It is a Non BC version. I think he will like it....with a copy of Planet Earth on Blu Ray :)

 

Me, Batman AA is so awesome...Also, can't wait to play Uncharted 2 and watch the Blu Ray version of Lord of the Rings on this Bad Boy later this Fall.

Let him in slowly with Madden and Buzz, then move him onto LBP and Ratchet, then finally Uncharted and Killzone 2! Easy!
