PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E
Consoles owned: Game Cube, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, PSP, PS1, PS2, PS3.
My prediction: NATAL WILL NOT help 360 sales. Maybe a 50-100k boost week 1, then a 30-70 k boost week 2, and back to the norm again after 3-5 weeks.

Summed it up right there.
I rather praise a character for many great games than one who just came out. Uncharted is still a good game but Samus has simply being around longer and being in better games. |
That's absurd for three reasons: Firstly, you're comparing a game to a character; second, you're comparing characters simply by the amount and longevity of the games that they happen to be in; thirdly, you're relating character to how good the overall game(s) is.
I thought this thread was simply about which character you thought to be the most appealing, not necessarily the most impacting.
Was Bilbo any lesser quality a character in The Hobbit before The Lord of the Rings series had released and many years had gone by reaching huge appeal? Is Cecil (FFIV) a lesser character for only being in one game? Terra(FFVI)?
I'm just curious... what criteria do you have for the making of a good character? Or more specfically, a videogame character?
On topic: Nathan Drake.

I put forth that it is okay to like a character just because you associate them with positive gaming experiences. It's why I like Gordon Freeman.

Translation- Wah wah wah vote for drake.
Nope, enjoyed Metroid games more than Uncharted. So I enjoyed Samus Aran over drake. My vote stands for Samus, deal with it.
