It's probably because you didn't say that in your original post.  You stated the sales as "hilarious" and said nothing of the facts surrounding this data.

It isn't the thread itself, it's the OP and the aura about the thread.  It's like you made it to mock the console.

I'm not saying that it is FOR A FACT your intention, but I can see how the thread would be judged as such.

IMO, it is pretty bad that the numbers look that way, considering PlayStation's history. However, with The Slim and dried up stock there, this is no surprise.

We only have one more week of this.  It's obvious that week 1 sales are going to be huge.

Yes terrible sales, the silver lining though for the ps3 fanboys/girls is when the new model comes out they can post

the numbers on the week ending Aug 30th wud be similar..expect somewhere as less as 2K in Japan.
America and Europe has still plenty of stock.
PS3 slim launch wud xplode the sales in Japan. Certainly 180-200K consoles by mid september. WW 500-650K.

If you read my previous post you would know that that is not what I meant. Go ahead and check, I'll wait.

Until then, the facts surrounding the data (shortages, price drop and people willing to wait) are different than giving a source.  Heck, I don't even need to check the article, it's on the darn front page of vgchartz.

Apparently, it is the word "hilarious" that is causing an issue...

My questions is why did the XBox 360 sales increase? No must have game. Price drop had not happened yet. Still the XBox 360 sales rose higher. Amazing.
