The ads are funny. I think the "nigerian millionaire" comment was not needed. I guess the ad agency decided to use that stereotype to make it funnier. Kinda ruined it for me though.

It's because millions of Americans have received spam mail offering large sums of money from Nigerian princes (or whatever crap the emails say). These Americans can relate to that, and thus, it's good advertising.
