No they don't but it does raise several questions about Sony and its relationship with FF7. As Anything FFVII related has been released exclusively for Sony consoles. And if a Remake were to happen it would be for either the PSP or PS3/PS4 (Maybe the 360 depending on how well XIII does on it). Sony published FF7 in America. Sony has the publishing rights to the game FINAL FANTASY 7 in america, I said nothing about a new game, but if its the same game, you can bet your asses they will be publishing it. They PAID for the rights to do so. Its a legally binding contract.

I wish that was true but. Your logic is flawed. Nintendo published Final Fantasy I and that was remade for the PS1 and PSP.

That and Eidos also published FF7 in America.

The deal sony cut was only for the PS1. They also got right of first refusal on FF: Tactics, Bushido blade... and a third game who's name alludes me.

I mean Eidos published FF7 that's undeniable.

After Sony published it.

Why would Sony give up a goldmind if they could of published it themselves or prevent it from being published?
