I'm not quite sure that in America that it's a done deal that PS3 will outsell the XBox360.  The general public are completely unaware of PS3 slim.  The general public are still gonna be swayed by the new Halo ODST coming out with the reduced price on the Xbox360 Elite. 

I'm a very pro-PS3 person.  Talking to most people (non video game fanatics), most still see the Xbox as the better choice and the general public still go with the herd.

I quite agree with you, I always took into account price cuts and Slim too when I wrote that IMVHO the most likely favourable scenario for Sony is ending this gen 2nd WW, but 3rd in USA. Things can go ven better for Sony, nothing is impossible, but it's simply less likely for what regards uncontrollable things and more costly regarding things Sony can control, while ending 2nd WW and 3rd in USA simply gives enough satisfaction to Sony, given its current situation, requiring less efforts and risks, it's the goal with best costs/benefits ratio.

The general public are aware, if not, the marketing will make them.

However, ODST and a $50 price tag will last them this year, but unless they take some drastic measures next year such as a Slim $200 system, they can kiss their marget gains goodbye.

No-one mentioned it being a 360 exclusive. Only one person used the wor exclusive and that was in reference to the MICROSOFT exclusive deal. No-one ignored the PC version but then you jumped in with your it's not a 360 comment. Why?
That's not the point. The point was whether it's comming to the PS3, what exclusive deal does MS have but you had to try to stir it up by bringing up fanboy nonsense about 360 exclusivity, then you had to attack 360 fans by telling everyone what they think (you being an expert) and get a dig in with GoW. Isn't you telling everyone how 360 fans think how this got started?
Naturally whenever you do this it's always negative to 360 fans. Says a lot.

so it doesn't matter if the game sells well and makes it worth the developers time and effort if the 360 loses an exclusive?  Do you need more bragging rights for your ps3 to justify your purchase or something?
