Doing something very little is not the same as not doing it at all.

I clicked into the Microsoft section of the forum to have a gander. There are Mass Effect 2 and a Forza 3 threads on the main page with over 100 replies each, I'm sure you could find plenty of examples of 360 fans hyping the games in there.

You're right, 360 fans don't hype games. Forget about Halo 3, Gears of War, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Forza 3, *goes on ridiculously long list*.

Check threads where PS3 exclusives are brought up, to show how the PS3 is goijng to turn it around.  Demon's Soul ends up on that list. 

Anyhow, when reaching for a subject header for the thread, those words came to mind, maybe even not a fit.  Probably should of said, "Is anyone hyping Demon's Soul like it is a game changer?"  instead of asking why.  It keeps popping up on exclusive hype lists I have seen.  It has spawned multiple threads on here also (like this):

lol, what does my official thread have to do with any of this?

I made that thread after I played the asian version for a month. I liked it so much that I made an official thread so that more people could find out about the game and owners could discuss strategy and setup co-op sessions. It isn't a preemptive hype thread, as many posters in there have actually played the game to completion, some multiple times.

edit: Also remember that when I made that thread there was no North American release announced. In order for myself and others to entice non-owners to import or at least pay attention to the game was through our own positive experiences, reviews, impressions, and the like. Considering it's my GOTY so far, I felt a certain need to make other people aware of this gem that was already playable in english. Now that it's coming to North America officially, there's obviously going to be more people looking forward to it.

Even so, the two threads you used as examples don't contain anything about it beating x360 or being a game changer.

I'm pretty sure Dead Rising 2 was announced as multiplat from the get-go.

People hype this game as a game changer? They hype this as a reason the PS3 will beat the 360?

I don't know which is worse, the OP itself or the ones actually agreeing with it.

Seems like just your average "Why PS3 gamers are evil" thread, because everyone knows that people getting excited for games is wrong.

Ive never ever seen a post with any statement of the sort.. and ive been following Demons Souls alot.

Id bet you've seen one or two, and all of a sudden the PS3 fans are out to get ya... boooo.. scary.

Stop fact checking my posts, it's freaking annoying.  

Demon's Souls is the first PS3 game I got a platinum trophy for and the only one so far...that's how good it is. Next will be FFXIII.
