Pointless... buy the slim and game probably bundled at 299 and then buy a 320 gig HDD = cheaper.

This may seem pointless to you, but to the average consumer... it will be gold.

Would it be bundled at $300 WITH a game? I don't think they would do that.

I'm sure someone said this already but why not bundle it with the $299 slim version???

Throwing in a bigger HDD and GT5 at 399 would probably make a profitable bundle, unlike the current 299 bundle.

It would work in Eu though at 299pounds/Euro.

Sony bundles everything, so while this may just be a rumor, you know it's gonna happen.

Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo all bundle many many things together.

It's not just Sony that does a lot of bundling.

Nintendo has only bundled Wii Sports... nothing else in this gen. Oh and MH3, but only in Japan. Did I miss anything?

Sony and Microsoft, on the other hand, regularly bundle the newest games, even 3rd party ones like GTA 4 and RE 5. Sometimes they even bundle two games together with the consoles.

You missed Wii Play. Wii Fit. Mario Kart Wii. Link's Crossbow Training. There is also Wii Sports Resort. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10.

Well we're talking about bundling consoles with games in this thread, not bundles in general... In that category, the PS3 and 360 have clearly had many more different bundles than the Wii.

Yes but not all rumore come/are true. For instance...

- PS3 BC returning

- In Gmae Voice Chat, Cross Game Invites for PSN

Just some of the few blunders seen lurking the net at one point or another...

I will assume you mean cross game voice chat, however cross game invites have been working for months.

I'm talking about bundles in general. All 3 companies have bundleitis this gen.

No, they don't work on every game. You can't invite anyone to any game online on PS3, it's game specific not PSN specific. And in game voice chat, cross game voice chat - same thing. You can't voice chat during a game so it's the same thing.

That'd be a sweet deal if it happened. The cheapest Newegg has 2.5" 250GB HDDs for is $60. GT5 will be $60. The bundle is something of a deal, though a 320 GB HDD can also be had for $60 on Newegg. Still, if they did this profit margins would be better than the $300 slim and they wouldn't be giving consumers that want it a bad deal.

You do not have the right to never be offended.
