Forums - Gaming Discussion - Has Everyone Forgot that Batman has had Several great games?

Now I'm not trying to take anything away from Arkham Asylum but honestly it's pissing me off that people keep saying that the Batman franchise has never had a game worthy of it. When in fact they've had 2!

Batman and Robin for The SNES. Who could forget a classic like this? In the style of a beat-em-up this game was one of the best used Cartoon-based games. It accurately captured the feel of the Animated Series of the time and for god sakes this game was a challenge. Anyone remember the Mad Hatter boss fight? one of the hardest fights on the SNES for me. If I can track this game down or if its on Wiiware please somebody tell me.

Batman Vengece for the PC, Gamecube, PS2 and Xbox. This took everything the SNES version did, put it in 3D and upgraded several things. I can't believe people missed this gem. Just for reasons above this game did so many things right and the story were among the elite of Batman Animated Stories and thats saying A LOT.

So how could you guys forget this game? I know Arkham Asylum will be awesome but please don't say that Batman has never had a proper gaming experience because he has :D

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
