Yes, I will be getting more games for PS3 from now on.
I have 80 X360 games and about a Dozen PS3 games in my collection. I use my PS3 mostly for movies and very little for games, but enough is enough, I am so happy with my PS3 right now.
Right now I think the PS3 is in a better postion than the X360.
1. The Slim at $299 is a great move by Sony and more and more people will be on PSN because more gamers will be able to afford the PS3. Ps3 will outsell both the Wii and X360 this Holiday, I have no doubt about it.
2. Games like Uncharted 2, GOW3, GT5, The Last Guardian are all going to be great games and will finally get the sale numbers that PS3 AAA games deserved.
3. I will finally buy more PS3 multiplat games such as BAtman: AA, FF13, Assassin's Creed 2, Tekken 6 because the quality of the ports are finally catching up to X360 versions.
4. The Blu Ray advantage I think will start to show in the next few years with games like Rage, Japanese RPG on one disc, and etc.
I don't know but the PS3 Slim is so slick that I have dream about it. I am not going to get one since I already have the 80 gig version but this thing will be a Top 5 sellers this Holiday.
It pains me to say it but the Elite X360 is not even in the same class as the PS3 Slim. It really does everthing at the exact same price as the 360. I really hope Sony will advertise this advantage so more people will buy it.
I will still get most of my games on X360 because it is such a great system. Halo ODST, Forza 3, MW2, L4D2, and Dragon Age will all be play on my X360 this year but PS3 is really on fire right now. Uncharted 2 has no comparison this year on any console.
As a gamer, I am excited that the PS3 is finally given a rebirth that will turn the fortune for Sony and the PS Brand. Can't wait for BAtman: AA on my PS3 on Tuesday.
