yay he didn't forget pikmin 3! Who here agrees that wii's 3rd party support is getting better?

Tag:I'm not bias towards Nintendo. You just think that way (Admin note - it's "biased".  Not "bias")
(killeryoshis note - Who put that there ?)
Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true

Biggest pikmin fan on VGchartz I won from a voting poll

Whoo! Well done Smeags. It's strange, but no matter where I head, I can never seem to find a list of Wii games (or for any console) better than the ones you make.

First impression of the games: Wow! There are actually five games I'm interested there! Definitely better than I expected

Second impression: Well, I'm not really that interested in Pikmin 3, and I have no clue if I'm really interested in MH3. I might not end up buying any of them.

Final impression (so far): It's actually less interested for me than I expected.

Well, while I'm not that interested in the (current) lineup, I can at least be happy that you made a good thread. Yay!

I think there should now be a 'health and well being' genre as it seems the exercise gaming and things like Wii Vitality are taking off and deserve a genre of there own, not just 'Casual & Miscellaneous'

But hey, that's just me..

I totally agree. There is no way you should include crap minigame compilations in the same genre as fitness titles (despite the fact some fit titles bite).

puffy, good game monday are doing a story on fitness titles actually. Even they believe it is its own sub genre.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

FFCC: TCB is 2009. It'll be out in 2010 in EU though. RE: DSC is 2009 according to that one lady at Nintendo who always does the Nintendo Minute with IGN (forgot her name). Arc Rise Fantasia is 2010 but don't put Fragile just yet.

Denise Kaigler.

@OP; If all these games make it out in 2010 that is a hell of a lineup. Of all those games the one I'm most iffy on is Zelda. But being the huge Metroid Fan that I am, Other M to me is my most anticipated game of 2010.

I don't know why, but I also think Nintendo's fall conferencee may have a few surprises in store.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

didn't realize there were so many already announced ..... has anyone perfected the freeze time machine yet so that we can play all that's comming to us ?

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

yeah i wish someone would perfect the freeze time machine so we can play without having to worry about school, hephaestos.

Also, killeryoshis, I am completely with you. I mean so many third party games that are actually not going to be shovelware and games that developers have put in the effort on. Like one game is enough said: Monster Hunter Tri. Sometime ago i posted a thread for the official Monster Hunter Tri thread and it has all screenshots ever released and more and the last one just looks epic..check that thread out...

so yeah i completely agree with killeryoshis that wii has an awesome third party line up not to mention the great fiorst party line up so i guess 2010 will be the best year especially for wii fans that want more third party titles as i believe that looking at all the third party games i think the wii matches the 360 and ps3 third party line up if not better.

EDIT: The thread i said earlier in this post is actually named New Monster Hunter Tri Screens.

Alrighty then, I've been doing a little work and this is what I've done so far:

  • Arc Rise Fantasia added (RPG/Action-RPG)
  • VGChartz Game Pages linked in Game titles
  • Trying to go with the Banner system again. I think it's very nice and clean looking.
    • If you don't see a game that's represented with a banner, it doesn't have one (or it's just ugly ) Fix it!
  • Still gotta work on actual release dates for these puppies...
  • Some games don't have a game page (Samurai Warriors 3 & Zelda Wii)

nice thread smeags this is helpful...in deciding which games i get over the other...hehe

also you seem to be updating this thread often and thats a good signn hopefully ninty will have something at their fall conferewnce

Anyways, it's sounding like Night Game (Wiiware) may be a 2010 release, same with Dynamic Slash and Cosmic Walker. Unconfirmed, of course.
