Best games on the best system ever? Okay! 1. Castlevania 2. Castlevania III 3. Contra 4. Mega Man 2 5. The Battle of Olympus (everyone should try this game, it blows Zelda II away!) 6. Ninja Gaiden 7. Dr. Mario 8. Super Mario Bros. 3 9. Super C 10. Super Mario Bros. By the way, all these games (plus more NES games actually) rate 10/10 for me.

Mario and Zelda asside, there were some damn great Nes games. I absolutely loved Silkworm; a side scrolling arcade shooter with two players. You know, there's something to be said for the days when games had no saves. And you just had to play the whole thing straight through and hope you made it all the way! Infact, it was the two player experience that made the Nes. River City Ransom and Battletoads in particular. Oh yeah, and Yo Noid rocked, even if the whole thing was just an ad for a pizza place

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Mega Man 2 River City Ransom Super Mario Bros. Battletoads Metroid

One of the better games and also the hardest that I played on the NES was Journey to Sicilius. It was a 2d side scrolling shooter based on the future. I even went so far as to cheat to beat the game and I still could not beat it, that is how hard it was.
