yeah point taken ... i guess tales of graces can get to 400-500k if a tales spinoff managed 220k

also i was comparing FFCC to the gamecube version, i dont know how much more this game would appeal

That's right. I was getting them confused.

Time for you to play some SRW games

If I had to predict those games I'm very positive about Tales of Graces, but I'm pretty negative towards FFCC despite the effort Square Enix is putting into it. Unfortunately I think it will bomb. Personally its gameplay doesn't appeal to me.

My prediction

Tales of Graces --- (330k - 375k)
FFCC --- (220k - 250k)

What an utterly uninteresting week.

Also I don't see how FFCC and Graces at 300k are "huge disappointments." Those certainly are the lowball of my expectations though, I don't see either one selling that low LTD in Japan. FFCC on Gamecube passed 300k in Japan so I don't see how Crystal Bearers won't outdo that unless Japan really hates it, and Graces is going to outsell every Tales on PSP, DS, PS3 and 360 so 300k is out of the question.

Well, being that ToS2 did over 200k. I would that Graces would come close to Abyss.

FFCC is the big Final Fantasy title on the Wii and the situation has changed big time from GC -> Wii. I expect it to do much better than the GC one.

That's why they'd be disappointments.

Talking about Tales of franchise It will be interesting to see the sales of Tales of Vesperia for PS3 (17th September)

If it sells really well it will be hard for Namco to decide wich console will receive the next main titles.
PS2 Tales of fanbase is too split between PSP, Wii or in the future PS3.

i'd say the RPG fanbase is too split between all 3 consoles. Quite some PS2 owners upgraded to the PS3 because they expected the PS3 to become RPG heaven. Microsoft bought lots of RPG exclusives, so RPG fans bought a 360 for those RPG's. And the Wii has a huge amount of owners, with a RPG fanbase in there.
