Yeah I have no idea how they dropped the ball with Barret.  He's tall.  He's built.  He's good on the mic.  He's decent in the ring.  Zero clue.

Ever since Cena destroyed the Nexus.

He hasnt been the same :(

Barret was fine though.  I know an injury slowed him down, but afterwards he was fine.  They just wouldn't give him the ball.

He was fine until Vince, Triple H and Cena hit the shovel on his future XD.

?

You reminded me of this:

Oh, wow.

Premiering on Wednesday 7/13 on the WWE Network at 9 PM will be the WWE Global Cruiserweight Series, planned as a ten week series that will follow 32 Cruiserweight competitors striving to prove they are the best Cruiserweight in the world.   The tournament will be populated by 32 competitors from all over the world seeking not just the chance to perform and win but to do what every pro wrestler dreams of doing - getting themselves over in the eyes of WWE as well as making a name for themselves in front of the biggest audience possible.   http://www.pwinsider.com/ViewArticle.php?id=99897

I can honestly say that the mid-card of Nitro was the main reason I watched that show over RAW.  This sounds awesome, especially since most of the participants aren't under contract with WWE.

Oh saw a article about this.

Didnt really read into it and thought it was gonna be a retro show - showcasing different matches that occurred in WCW, WWF, WWE and other promotional videos that WWE owns now.

Now that it isnt - I think I will check this out.

It will be interesting to see who they can get.  Guys like Ricochet/Prince Puma and Kushida are at the top but they have long-term contracts elsewhere.  I'd love to see Jack Evans in something like this, too.  Some former WWE guys also fit the mold.  It's going to be interesting.  I mean, damn, what if we see Adam Cole?

I'm almost certain Zack Sabre Jr is going to be in it, judging from Triple-H's comment about technical type wrestlers from England.

Word on the street is that Mark Henry got injured on Monday. Worst year ever? I hope he still has a lot more left in the tank.

I'm a Mark Henry fan but I'm thinking it might be time to try something else. He looked really sluggish from the very start of the match. Maybe he's just dealing with a pre-existing injury. It's not good that he couldn't even finish, though.

I remember reading an article about Henry. He said he didn't actually wanna renew his contract the last time. Vince talked him into it.

After the events in Niigata, Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks (The Bullet Club) make a formal apology.

I'm glad they're taking this seriously.  Screwing a living legend like Tanahashi is over the line.

WTF lmao

Them singing was unexpected lol

With AJ and Machine Gun leaving for the WWE, Kenny and the Bucks are now the unquestioned leaders of the Bullet Club.  I like that they're bringing their own style, which is much more mocking and irrevernt.  That's a good way to get heat with the Japanese.

Now Cody Hall just needs to step up for them.  He looks huge compared to everyone else in New Japan (other than Fale).
