Honestly, I like Roman Reigns. I like him a lot. Problem is, he worked best next to the other Shield members. On his own, we all know he's lacking in promo work, and his move pool is limited, but next to Rollins and Ambrose, they complemented each other very well.

He's not bad, but he was better when he was an enigma. a powerful, dangerous mystery that let Ambrose and Rollins do his talking for him.

He has a place on the roster, no doubt about that. he has value. he's got a charisma about him (despite lacking charisma on the mic), and like I said he has the powerhouse thing going for him. I think that, in time, he can be great. HE's just not there yet.

A shame he's being shat on so messily right now. Sucks that WWE sucks so incredibly badly at storytelling. It's funny. the more control WWE creative gets, the less creative the stories are. The less interesting the characters are. The lest exciting the matches and promos are.

Saw an article recently about how "WWE created a legend" in regards to Daniel Bryan, and I honestly gagged a little bit trying to hold back the laughter.

I agree about Reigns and the Shield.  He was a good power to the team for heavy moves.  But outside of that he isn't much.  If he was given time to develop and have a few fueds so he could work on his mic skills, he'd be fine to win the rumble.  But that's years down the line.  Now this rush job is gonna ruin him and I feel bad for him cause I doubt he wanted this.

Thinking about the Rumble a bit.  I think WWE really screwed themselves over these past few years.  They literally built no one.  LIke, I don't disagree with Daniel Bryan not winning the Rumble, cause I don't think him main eventing 'Mania would be the right thing to do this year.  But there's no one else to win.  They screwed up Cesaro so many times.  They'll never give it to Ambrose, unfortunately, because of his loose cannon gimmick.  Rollins can do it, and if his match with Cena and Lesnar is any indication, he could.  But he's heel.  Orton sucks as a face, so he's no good.  Leaves Ziggler really.

Isn't the Royal Rumble about skyrocketing someone up into the stratosphere?  how many superstars did it bring up from the midcard to be main event talent?  Rey Mysterio, Chris Benoit, Brock Lesnar (though really, he was destined for main event basically fromt he beginning.)  The Rumble can either be a tool for a story or a means toelevate new talent. In this case, I think they're using it as a way to enhance new Talent.

Like any new superstart or relatively inexperienced superstars, sometimes they just need that push.  Some guys get the love despite what WWE wants like Ziggler and Bryan and Cesaro.  Some guys get the push, like Cena, Batista, and ORton.

Speaking of which, I think a surprise return from ORton followed by a Rumble win would have worked amazingly well.  ORton vs LEsnar could be awesome.  Lesnar is a beast, but Orton is a Viper and knows when and how to strike.  a viscious but babyface orton vs a monster like Lesnar would be quite entertaining.  So would Bryan vs Lesnar, with bryan being the superior wrestler.

Up to now I've felt almost every Lesnar match has been boring, but when he's paired with someone intelligent and cunning like ROllins or CM Punk, he really delivers.  Against Cena and HHH and Taker, he was just boring.  he needs someone fast and smart.

I think Orton would be a nice blend, since Orton is quick AND powerful.

Lots of options.  Lots of better options, but at least this year it was New talent.  Is Reigns ready?  Nope, he is not, we all know that, but at least we have someone new to cheer for...if the IWC and lame-assed whiners can get their head out of their ass long enough to see the good amidst the bad.

But goddamn it pissed me off soo much seeing Kane and Big Show take out everyone.  Holy shit how dumb was that?  "Oh, let's have them take out ALL of the upcoming talent.  Don't let Reigns do it.  Don't let Ziggler or Cesaro do it."  So anticlimactic and frankly stupid storytelling.  you could even see Show and Kane laughing at the audience for their jeers and boos.

That said, I actually really like the roster.  Not a lot of guys I don't like, overall.  HAted Alberto Del Rio.  Felt they really trimmed a lot of the fat by letting a tonne of midcard talent go.  (Except Santino.  Santino is awesome...and my cousin actually trans with him in Mississauga...no lie.)

Ziggler.  Cesaro.  Ambrose.  Wyatt.  Bad NEw Barret. Tyson Kidd. Rollins.  Dozens others.  Lots of guys I love.  Hell, even Rusev is proving to be kind of fun to watch, and so is Ryback.

The WWE now, in contrast to a couple years ago when even TNA had more talent, has the second best roster of in-ring performers in the world.

But, really, so what?  Kane and Big Show each are on TV more than Cesaro and Ziggler combined.  The WWE does not care that much about wrestling.  It seems ridiculous to say but it's true.  It's just something they kinda have to do to keep the fans buying merchandise.  It's a means to an end.

That's why people are petrified of someone like Sami Zayn or Adrian Neville being called up to RAW.

Know what would have been awesome?  If Cesaro had been built up as the great wrestler that he is and had won the Rumble.  Imagine if he'd been in the final two and hit the Big Swing on Reigns.  There would have been no booing and people would have a potentially FANTASTIC match between Lesnar and Cesaro to look forward to.

As long as Vince still in charge, Cesaro is done. Givin up hope wish he'd just leave and go to TNA *_*

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

That would actually be awesome.  I can't imagine that he wouldn't be pushed hard.  I bet he'd be TNA champ within a couple of years.  Cesaro against Lashley, Samoa Joe, or Roode would certainly have my interest.

I still don't know how they managed to mess up Cesaro and Swagger. The Real Americans were really taking off and they had the crowd on their side. They would be Tag Team champs by now if they stayed together.

Ryback after the show telling fans "Thank you for booing Roman Reigns"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54mb1ThNsZ8

This guy has some cool crowd reaction videos of the Rumble actually.

-

Here is one of Reigns entrance into the rumble, the booing is deafening - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWTbJddN_EI

Ending to the Triple Threat, including Rollins' Phoenix Splash - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DiyXNoOAyCA

I like the Rollins one, shows appreciation for him after Lesnar has left.

Theres another with the ending to the rumble itself, but it just shows the same mass-booing of Reigns.

I'm just now getting into NXT. I never really watched it before. Can anyone give me a link or catch me up on what's going on? I finally found out what happened to Sin Cara and Tyson Kidd.
