Anyways, the video shows that the PS3 Slim stands perfectly when verticle.

No need for that 24.99 stand

Going with what I see in that vid, I wouldn't do it without the stand.

To anyone that does stand the PS3 slim verticle without the stand, don't come on here and moan that it fell over and broke

It just looks wrong, its like trying to stand a DVD case up right and expecting it to stay there.

I personally would be happier having the stand so i know that the console would not have the chance of going anywhere if something did happen anyway!

I used to have my PS3 Vertical all the time but it is always Horizontal now, and since i have the original (obviously lol) i won't need the stand! Although i am tempted to get a slim for some reason... Just a fan of new gadgets i suppose lol

i want a shiny stand with LED lights on it like the one i have for my fat.

I have my PS2 (original version, from 2002) and PS3 standing side by side in my entertainment center and they're both in vertical positions.

While the PS3 stands strong on its own, there was a stand on sale for the PS2 as well, but I never bought it and my console never fell. Could it be a similar thing for the PS3 Slim?

That just looks like a terrible idea. I had a lightning strike by my house that would have knocked that over. It made my Wii with a stand wobble, and I thought it was going to fall..

You do need a stand,if you try to put a game in or eject one its gonna wobble over.

it really looks like its gonna fall over if anything happens.

its a pointless thing, i had the PS2 the original one and it can stand without the Stand thingie.
i have had stand thingie for free though. never used it.
