Add to that list the following: GRAND THEFT AUTO: SAN ANDREAS GRAND THEFT AUTO: VICE CITY STORIES BEYOND GOOD & EVIL DEVIL MAY CRY 2 ERAGON I thought they had the PS1 titles all working right??? This website is showing FF games are not working 100%. At least they got God of War working.

I thought that Sony said that 40% af all ps2 titles would work? Now it is over 70%.

Another important question is how well do the working titles work ... Its unlikely that they had an opportunity to test all of the games fully so by what standard is a game considered to work?

This is a pathetic list imo, it has alot of games on the list, but most arent working properly :( guess ill be keeping my ps2 another few years yet. All the games i actually want to play and minor or serious issues during playback. Also why is Final Fantasy VII not on the list? This better keep getting upgraded and fixed with future patches I suppose it all matters with what this "minor" and "noticable" issues are... Will the games be unplayable or will it be an occasional glitch or bug

The wording on the website is vague at best. Who knows what Sony considers as minor and noticable. I would think though that they did test all the games on the list by just popping them in and playing for 15 minutes MAX. Who knows if something down the road in your favorite game won't freak out.

I did a quick run-through the list and from what I saw pretty much every shovelware game works while a large number of the best exclusive and multiplatform games have issues ... I suspect that if you looked at the game list you own nearly 50% would not work.

Good games push the hardware, shovelware is made by the books. Oh, and Rez doesn't work. Edit: Viewtiful Joe has "noticeable issues". For once being an early adopter pays off...

Better than I expected ,with firmware updates this should reach 90% .

Actually 44.6% run without "minor" to "noticable" issues. Not only that but Sony has also said they won't focus on firmware updates, so this really won't be different than the 360.
