Namco Bandai Partners With Ninja Theory and Game Republic
The Heavenly Sword sword developer and the Genji developer sign on with Namco for multiple projects.

At its Gamescom 2009 press conference just now, Namco Bandai announced that it has added two new developers to its partner roster: Ninja Theory and Game Republic.
Ninja Theory is most known for having developed the PS3 exclusive Heavenly Sword. Unfortunately, no info was given on the title it is working on for Namco Bandai other than that it is a game for both the PS3 and Xbox 360.
Namco Bandai's partnership with Game Republic seems to be even deeper -- two games were announced and it was said that more between the two would be coming in the future. Game Republic president Yoshiki Okamoto was on hand to discuss the first two games from the partnership. The first title is an action game (no surprise there) based on the Clash of the Titans movie that's coming from Warner Bros. next year and the second is an action/adventure game called Majin.
Majin definitely looked neat -- you control two characters, one a small and agile boy and the other a giant, slow monster (it's actually kind of reminiscent of The Last Guardian in some respects). Both titles seem to be headed to both the PS3 and Xbox 360 and will be releasing in Spring of 2010.

How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...
Xbox 360 wants to Kinect & PS3 wants to Move! Why are both systems having such relationship problems? The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.
