The new Yahoo front page is a pain in the ass. Everything you pass over with the mouse pops up.

It's alright, I recall only 3% of gamers said they would buy the DSi on a Famitsu poll, or something like that.
And damn, that's Yahoo. PS3 is #1 spot at Amazon, Wal-Mart etc. so no worries - it will sell like hotcakes, at least at launch. That we already know.

I'm going to the store today with 2 friends to pick up new ps3's.
I'm also trading in mine to get a slim next week. That's another 3.

Several people on this site have said the same. Let's just wait til sales next week and see what happens.

If I'm anti sony then you sr are stupid. I was about to buy a ps2, 2 weeks ago... but then all the rumors about ps3Slim started coming out... so I decided to wait in case that sony would've been smart for once in a while and put freaking BC with ps2... but they didn't. So now I'm debating on what to do.

Also, I own a Psp. I also have sony tv's and dvd's....now explain me sr, how am I anti-sony???

Oh, sorry if I offended you by calling sony not-smart. I used that as an expression, not literally. Geez. But I do believe sony is being stupid for not making the ps3 BC with ps2.... maybe b/c that's what I want. To be able to play ps2 games in the ps3.

hey, i can just go through your post history... I've seen plenty of really negative things on it.
sorry if you think I jumped the gun because I haven't seen you write anything to the extent of buying a ps3 recently.

BC is a legitimate concern. You are in the minority though maynard, believe you me.

If BC became a reality, a majority of responses would be, "Great, now it's finally a next gen console....360 ftw"

However, along with this price drop, you can now buy a ps3 and ps2 for around 350. It's not the same, but it's better than what it was.

EDIT: besides, Sony said that 80-90% of potential ps3 owners say that they want it for ps3 games.

I know, I could get both but.... 2 for 1 is better. I'll wait and see what happens. Plus I'm not in a hurry to get ps3...GoWIII hasn't come out yet anyways.
