As for the others, they both look OK, but the PS3 slim is easily uglier than the XBOX 360 Eilte, Pro, or even arcade. Leugh. The 360 just looks pretty last-gen, the Wii and PS3 both look very this-gen, but the PS3 has some aethestetically unpleasing issues (Like looking like a George Foreman Grill).

If it plays a PS3 game and plays BlueRay movies I really dont care what it looks like. Its a PS3 and now hopefuly Sony can start making money off of this damn console.

It IS ugly. It looks very Chinese, and very $300-like. The original one looked like if you actually chunked out six hundred, with this one everyone knows it's this cheap.

I don't care so much that it looks silly (though thankfully they got rid of the dust magnet shiny top), I just care I still can't fucking put anything on top it.

Agreed.  People will always find a reason to complain.   Anybody that dislikes the new look, I doubt they can design any better factoring the necessity to build one.

Be happy they didnt really cheap out and put in a top-loading disk (like PS2 slim) or them crappy flimsy eject tray.

And yes, I could have done better because I would have gotten rid of the curved top.
