If you don't like rpg's and would rather buy fps' on the pc, why the hell did you get a 360? I only say this because nearly every game anyone has listed thus far fits into one of these two categories and you already ruled them out.

Better choice would have been the Wii for a better variety outside the genres you have already excluded. Specifically the 1st party Nintendo games.

Oh, well. At least you have all the online content. Downloadable moviews, etc.

Do you like sport games? There's definitely some winners there, also sandbox style games. Godfather was a good game on Wii, and I heard Scareface wasn't bad either.

It's a fun game - get it!

Buy the XBOX Live vision camera. Uno is a blast, and if you have a good personality, you're gonna make a lot of friends.

I didn't even want Dead Rising, but after I got it, I was obsessed.

Geometry wars= no brainer

Bioshock, Halo 3, Saints Row, Kameo, Condemned, Burnout, Topspin, Oblivion, and Graw round out my list of current favorites. Gears isn't boring. Maybe you're playing it wrong.

I wouldn't get Earth Defense Force or Viva Pinata. Both got boring quickly.

Earth Defense Force is a great rental or even a purchase if you buy it used. It is just a fun game that deserves a play through. Any game that starts you with Rockets on the first level is alright by me.

Considering what you already have, have tried, my only recomendations are Viva Pinata and Geometry Wars.

I'd actually just rent Dead Rising. Story is terrible, Survivor AI is lousy at best, Boss fights are terribly
unbalanced and often cheap, and the game in general just feels overly restrictive. Just rent it and kill
zombies untill that no longer entertains you.
