The reason I am disappointed is because this means very little for PS3 users. We get FW 3.0 and the video store in the UK, but I still want the UK PSP go price point and I was hoping for more games and BC... but oh well I can wait for TGS

Eventually the slim will be under 200 €... and for another thing I didn't say I care. Have you never given your opinion on something you're not gonna buy?

I think people were overhyping Gamescom. PS3 Slim getting announced is a miracle in itself.

every little advantage the ps3 gets, and every extra console that it sells because of it, is a better chance at getting better developed games (not ports), more multiplats (coming to us), and more games being made. You should be happy for a price cut even if you own one, because it means you will see more games on the ps3 in the future.

Sad but true, Sony dissapointed their followers yet again, with GamesCon presentation.
Neither I would expect much from TGS. Yes, there is slight chance that GT5 will be announced, but as for multiple new games (bolded) the clear answer is no way. And no way for BC (another bolded), too. Sony is completely blind about what their customers want.

I don't think you will see PS3 officially at under €200 until at least two years from now.
And yes, I think your opinion is valid, I actually thought that you will not buy PS3 Slim only because of its design, but I read wrong.

You are wrong, it will probably be about £260, the current PS3 price is £300 |
I see, I used an online currency converter, but I guess the values were mixed or something
I don't believe there were any streams during the conference. However, they ought to be showing highlights and such of it in Home so you could try there.
