Forums - Nintendo Discussion - why is it that nintendo is the best>?

^ and that's why i support it. Deep down everyones knows why Nintendo is the best.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Because they are an awesome GAMES developer (unlike the electronics and OS makers), they build hardware specifically for new types of gameplay (unlike the electronics and OS makers).

They are creativity incarnate. They know what puts a smile on our face better than we do. They don't just create games they create whole genres.

Hopefully, next gen, Nintendo can send Sony and MS back to making Windows and TVs and leave gaming to games developers.

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

i really don't know.

Even if I currently have a PS3, in my opinion Nintendo is the best because they are keeping it simple.

beautiful epic games which swallow you and dont release you until the day is saved, and peace is once again restored to hyrule, mushroom kingdom, the lylat system, DK island or anywhere else. The best games in history wear the nintendo seal of quality.

Didn't Nintendo put the seal of quality on all NES and SNES games? It's certainly not true that Nintendo has made all of the best games ever made...Half Life, Shadow of the Colossus and FF7 beg to differ.

You can't say anything about it.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Nintendo is the best because they put their heart into what they do. Sounds corny, but it's true.

It is not corny, it's the difference between doing something out of pure passion than making it just for money.

And...experience.

Microsoft and Sony look like amateurs next to Nintendo right now. They think they are disputing the markets living room, but they have already lost. When most of the people think of a cool videogame machine for the living room the most distinctive image belongs to Nintendo. The Wii owns the living room with Wii Sports and Wii fit. Everyone is invited to this party. No surprise they are the market leader. Playstation and Xbox are associated with teenagers and some inmature adults. You can show off your Wii to everybody, but only some people, that specific market segment, would feel impressed with the 360 or the ps3.

And... lack of arrogance (which is something Sony and Microsoft have by tons). Nintendo is great. Miyamoto is a genious. They made great games and also great hardware. But they never take success for granted.

Pyro, but then who would be the 'perfect' competition for Nintendo?...the other 'pure' gaming companies, Sega and Atari, left the hardware business a long time ago.

becasue the know that games are made to have fun with
