Sony say NA because, believe it or not, the USA is a large portion of NA, and an even larger portion of the console market.

As for why you don't get stuff whilst the USA does, well, numerous reasons. The USA is a higher priority, for one, also lot's of firms may only give Sony the rights to distribute their movies in the USA (for the video store).

The question is why is Sony ignoring Europe so much, despite PS3 selling the most there.

Well, Canada have such a small population... But anyway, Canada and US are in the same gaming region, this mean you can buy a game at NA and run in your videogame with no problems, and for PS3 owners you can import games from any place in the world.

For the person who created the thread, just go online and buy your games from US, you don't have to wait for an official release in Canada.

Tell Sony to stop ignoring America too.

I read somewhere that the problem was not Sony but the Government of Canada. Sony tried to bring those features to Canada but like Gilgamesh said it's a problem of licence or something like that.
