Yes, but in the 3 preceding weeks sales only dropped by a total of ~1%. Although 2500 is not a relatively large amount compared to other markets, 30% is still a huge anomaly.

I can proudly say I live not to far from this man! He lives in Omaha,NE(USA) I live in a suburb town in the Omaha Metro Area(Papillion). Never met the guy but anytime there is a major debate on the stock market or other financial news you can usually find him downtown speaking to stock brockers and businessmen etc. I have seen his house though....my GOD its HUGE!

 

As for Japan numbers.....Where are the software sales at?

 



 How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...

Xbox 360 wants to Kinect &  PS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

Wii still good, ps3 very low... I hope wii can keep selling like this till the next big game.
PS3 really needs this new model. It'd better be not just slim, but slim and cheaper. If there isn't any price cut, it won't help that much... Maybe 1 or 2 weeks.
By the way, how much do you guys think ps3 will sell per week if there's a slim and it is priced Us$299?

I have no clue about the actual Japan price (and potential price cut) but I would go :

60k the week of the price cut (easly)

price cut is still the best way to get more sales and there is also a new model so ...

Those are some horrid HD console sales, as usual. The Wii will probably fall into the 15-18k range within a couple of weeks and stay there for a while imo.
DS seems unstoppable worldwide now and it'll take nothing short of a miracle for it not to outsell the PS2 at this rate!
