It would appear that the makers of the beloved and long since released Medievil franchise have an, as yet, unannounced game that they are working on... Could this be the sequel to the series making the leap to the PS3?

It is just speculation at this point but the studio has been recruiting staff recently and this seems to be tied with a PS3 game that is in development. Since the studio is known for their making of the Medievil games it would not be a huge leap of faith to assume that this could be the series making a comeback.

Here's hoping that something is announced soon since, personally, i loved the Medievil games

hmm if they were making the next MediEvil game i get the feeling that the game will be for the new motion controller. The creatures on sony's tech demo really reminded me of MediEvil for some reason.

I hate baseless rumors like this

I think that a new Medevil game on the PS3 would be great, would work well with the Motion Controls as Masterb8tr said (and i thought they looked like they looked familiar too)

I really don't think they've got any reason to think they're making a new Medievil, other then the fact they made the first two - I'd say it's far more likely they're working on their own new IP or something though. I don't think Medievil is a franchise that the mainstream public are going to buy in droves, although it might give Sony another family friendly type game in their arsenal, I guess, especially if they want to go after the Wii market.

I'd absolutely love it though, awesome games. So ahead of their time too, I always think they were Ps2 when I remeniss.
