They had to go for the most popular system which unfortunately has by far the weakest hardware.

If it was on the PS3, they couldve still sold good volumes as it wouldve been a killer app on the size of Yakuza 3, Resident Evil 5 and yes, even MGS4. Most importantly, they would have the processing power to make the game they way they see fit, instead of around limitations.

MHT has outsold all three of the games you mentioned in a week and a half. Also they didn't choose the Wii because it was the most popular, but because it was the cheapest to develop for. Also now I see your bias. You are bitter because the game doesn't have the graphics that you want.

No they chose the Wii because the PSP was indeed restricting them hence why others have commented on how little the games evolved on that platform. They needed a new platform to give them the breathing room to evolve, but with limited hardware, im seriously doubting how much further theyve really gone.

First off, no, I remember way back in the day the game was supposed to come out for PS3 originally, and all the game sites listed the game under PS3. Then one day, Capcom announced that it would be much cheaper to make on the Wii, so they switched platforms. They didnt want it on the PS3.

So dont kid yourself.

Also, your argument is a mass of contradictions.

Yes and one of those 2 people, actually BOTH of those people dont even know a PS3.. so yes blame it on the sony fans.

The fact that there is only 2 people makes them even more of a minority then. So those 2 people should perhaps realise that it's maybe.. just maybe them that are wrong and not the rest of the posters in this forum (a huge majority)?

So this game is most likely going to meet Capcom's expectations or maybe fall a bit short. Why are there 200+ posts in here? It didn't bomb, but it also didn't do exceeding well. The sales results are pretty unremarkable and works with what we already know about Japan abandoning home consoles in favour of portables.

This is probably one of the worst threads I've read recently here on VGC.

The only thing I think the PS3 could have added would be a more stable online mode (I honestly don't too many will use this outside of the hardcore people who were already playing it on PS2). You would be able to add a lot more content, and of course the graphic overhaul.

Gameplay would be largely the same as the MH3 is reliant on the CCP, IIRC.
