Go play FFIX (9) it was made specially for old school fans.

I only put 3 as it would be too hard to decide which of the rest of the games came 4th let alone 5th!

FINAL FANTASY 10 is the best because, I felt more conneted with the game instead of just reading dialougues and Tidus was the most interesting main character because he was naive and funny

FF X, my first and still my favourite

So far for me FF VII, FF X is still not good to me.. next to FF VII that is.. and im 18 hours in

FF IV with VI only shortly behind.

Final Fantasy 10 is the best.  I say this because I feld more connected with the game as opposed to others where I just read dialogue.  Also, Tidas was naive and funny, making him the most interesting main character in an game.
