It seems a new service was announced by Sony called MegaTV, here is a rough translation:

"SCEK and KT introduced the new "Mega TV for PLAYSTATION ® 3" service. This service was developed by Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) software using a "Broadcasting Engine" based on the enabling technologies. "Broadcasting Engine" is the quality of HD PS3 ™ streaming software that enables playback. The "MegaTV for PLAYSTATION ® 3" service to the world's first commercialized in the United States.

The Cell / Broadband Engine ™ is used for optimal operation of the power and graphics capabilities, such as the PS3 RSX ™ to take advantage of the excellent performance of the hardware. Full-HD IPTV even responds. Using "MegaTV for PLAYSTATION ® 3" at the same time to use a Web surfing is also possible, such as top points you can not enjoy the Zone feature enables set-top boxes."

That's pretty cool...wonder when this happens? Anyhow, it would be even cooler if they find a way to let you watch it remotely with your psp when your ps3 is turned on.

Well, I now only have access to a PS3 & 360...Plan on buying a wii soon (lol, if I can ever find one available!) but will probably wait until some of the major RPG's come out like Dragon Quest & Tales, etc.

Anyhow, I'm so far behind in games to play that I'm not in a huge hurry (lol, haven't even gotten a chance to finish God of War II yet!)

So I can hook up my PS3 to my TV to watch... TV?  MegaTV?

Using "MegaTV for PLAYSTATION ® 3" at the same time to use a Web surfing is also possible

We've already achieved this magnificent feat with the computer/TV combo.

Actually I remember reading that they would be doing something like that.  Consider it a rumor though, since I can't seem to find the article that I read it in.
