Forums - Nintendo Discussion - What control scheme Everybody?

i'm fairly new around here so i'm not really sure if this discussion has been brought up yet (i am aware of a massive general Smash Bros. thread). but i was just curious on knowing for those who are planning on buying SSBB, what control scheme are you guys gonna use? me personally, i think i'm going w/ the gamecube controller one........this will be a game of botton mashing.
so which one and why.....

There's a Brawl discussion thread, but I'll probably end up using the GC controller too.

I'll try them all and use the one I find I like best.

I will probably use Gamecube controllers, because they're quite comfortable, and obviously not gimped for Smash at all.

I will try all control options, and I have a feeling Wiimote + nunchuck won't be that bad. It's quite comfortable to have the left and right hands separated, so I can be smashing the analog stick with the left and pounding buttons with the right, but I can cross my hands, spread them apart, whatever, when using that combination.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I pretty much agree with words of wisdom, though i'm sure i'll end up liking the cube's controller best.

Words of wisdom has spoken words of wisdom....i agree with him.

and unless i really do prefer the GC controls much more than others i doubt i'll use them because i don't like keeping the top cover of the Wii open, which i would have to do if using a GC controller.
Probably just use the remote/nunchuck because it's basically the same (easy access to four buttons (A,B,C,Z) and the d-pad (ok only down is easy access but it adds a button) and the control stick on the nunchuck)

unless i buy a classic, which i am planning to do but i don't know when.....i have lots of time to do so though here in Eu

I'll try the Wii Remote + Nunchuk first, if I don't like it I'll switch to a `cube controller.

Pretty much guaranteed that I'll use the gamecube controller.

Consoles I Own: NES, SNES, N64, GC, GBA, DS, X360, Wii

Pretty much going with the GC controller.

GCN controller. Wii controller just isn't suited for Smash.
