Because fighting fans are too busy playing street fighter right now. Bad luck namco, capcom stole your thunder. In general it's taken so long and the fighting genre is losing even more prominence. A month before the game comes out people will be talking about it. But it's not like shooters or Fallout 3, where people constantly anticipate the next installment.

Those Namco morons have waited soooo much to release this game, that the hype is just not there anymore. Besides, the franchise itself is not what it used 2 b, and Tekken games have become stale.
The fact that Tekken 6 is multiplattform now doesn't help, either.
BTW, SF4 had absolutely nothing to do with this.

sf4 was garbage.

I wanna play game to have fun not break my fingers.

hold down for 2 seconds ,rotate the directional pad twice counter clock wise while getting up press x and o 2 ms before compeletly standing up.

I mean i wanna play a freakin fighting game not make an atomic bomb.

Tekken better be good.

man what i would do for dead or alive 5 on PS3.
