Will I buy one: Eventually, when the price drops and it gets games I'm interested in. This will not be immediately.

Price I'll pay: $199US (thus, why I don't expect to get it immediately)

Price at launch: $399US

How many will I have bought: Only one at that point.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. No we are past the middle of this gens cycle, new consoles should be announced in 2011.

As long as I don't get fired from my new job I'm buying a slim if it comes out even w/o a pricecut. If no slim comes out I'll only buy one if it is $50 cheaper or it gets b/c.

Yes I will pick up a ps3 slim and sell my old one. Price doesn't bother me too much as long as it's cheaper than the previous one, has all the same features, decent size hard drive. If it comes bundled with a game then that would be a bonus.

In the case that it is not cheaper then I'll still get it. In the case that it is cheaper but has less features then I may pick up a second hand ps3 or just keep my old one.
